AP Dhillon Show Chandigarh: Phones stolen from AP’s show, mobile phones of 50 people missing

The police have received about 40 online complaints. While some people have filed a written complaint at the police station

Chandigarh: Thieves broke into the crowd during singer AP Dhillon’s live show at the Rally Ground in Sector-25, Chandigarh on Saturday and stole about 50 mobile phones. Several iPhones worth Rs 1 lakh each went missing. Hundreds of police personnel were deployed at the show for security arrangements. In the online complaints, complaints of theft of mobile phones of other companies besides iPhone 13, 15, 12 Pro Max, 11 Pro, and 15 Pro Max have been registered.

The police have received about 40 online complaints. While some people have filed a written complaint at the police station. About 150 mobile phones stolen during the live show of singer Karan Aujla and Diljit Dosanjh in Sector-34 have not been found. 105 mobile phones were stolen at Diljit’s show.

The police officers had deployed hundreds of police personnel to prevent incidents of mobile theft. Apart from this, people’s pockets were snatched and gold chains were stolen.

In many cases, people did not complain to the police. People are sharing their incidents on social media by posting videos.
