Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are celebrating Christmas in Australia, surrounded by kangaroos and koalas. Sonakshi shared several photos on her Instagram stories, including a selfie with kangaroos in the background, captioned “Kangarooooos.” She also posted a picture of a koala resting on a tree, calling it a “Cutie koala,” and shared a sweet photo of the couple next to a Christmas tree with a “Merry Christmas” sticker.
The couple has been sharing updates about their Australian adventures. Recently, Zaheer sought help on Instagram to persuade Sonakshi to bungee jump with him, to which she firmly responded, “No no no.” Zaheer humorously promised to convince her. In another playful moment, he surprised Sonakshi by pushing her into the water while she was enjoying the waves, leading to her laughter. She captioned the video, “Shanti se ek video bhi nahi lene dega yeh ladka.”
After dating for over seven years, Sonakshi and Zaheer officially tied the knot on June 23, 2024, opting for a private civil ceremony. They first met at a party hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and lived together for a year. The couple made their on-screen debut in the 2022 film “Double XL,” which focuses on two plus-size women navigating life and celebrating body positivity.
