Dallewal’s fast enters 31st day, health remains critical as communication only through gestures

Khanauri: The hunger strike of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal on the Khanauri border regarding 13 demands including MSP of crops has entered the 31st day today (Thursday). His health remains critical. Now he is not even able to talk and is communicating only through gestures.

On the other hand, an important meeting will be held in Khanauri today regarding the Punjab bandh to be held on December 30 in support of the movement. Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, social and religious organizations, leaders of various unions will participate in it. In other states except Punjab, the hunger strike will be held from 10 am to 4 pm in support of Jagjit Singh Dallewal’s hunger strike.

Doctors issued a medical bulletin saying that Jagjit Singh Dallewal’s blood pressure is very worrying. He has not eaten anything for 30 days and has not drunk anything except water. His hands have turned yellow and is not even able to speak now.

Farmer leader Abhimanyu Kohad said that to avoid any misunderstanding by the central government, state governments, and any constitutional institutions, all the tests including the ketone body of Jagjit Singh Dallewal should be done by government doctors and their report should be shared with the country.
