Ludhiana: Ludhianvis are all set for the New Year celebrations. This year the celebrations are going to be special because Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s live concert is going to be held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). The final show of Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour will be held in Ludhiana on occasion of New Year Eve.
Preparations of the concert are in full swing at PAU. The team has started preparing the stage at the PAU football ground. As soon as the online ticket booking started at 2 pm on Tuesday for the concert to be held after 8:30 pm on December 31, the tickets were sold out in no time.
Diljit’s Show received permission from the administration. A total amount of ₹20,65,000 has been spent by the show organisers for the entire show. A rental fee of ₹2.50 lakh was paid for the day of the show on December 31. ₹9 lakh has been paid for the setup which will be done in over 6 days. ₹4.50 lakh was spent for 3 days to dismantle the complete setup made.
Organisers have paid ₹1.50 lakh paid for 1 day of parking. Apart from all these expenses, ₹3,15,000 has been charged GST at the rate of 18% whereas ₹3 lakh has been paid as a refundable security deposit.
