21 sheep died in Nagla Megha village of Karnal in Haryana. It is alleged that the sheep died after drinking dirty water containing chemicals. Cleaning work was done in the factory and it is said that the factory people threw the chemical-laden water in the vacant plot in front.
Due to the death of sheep, the owner has suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees. While the factory owner said that he had washed the factory with clean water, he did not know where this contaminated water came from. After getting information about the incident, the police also reached the spot. The police is investigating the matter.
Victim Sanjay, a resident of Nagla Megha, said that he had come to graze his sheep in Nagla Megha at 12 o’clock. He was grazing his sheep right in front of the factory. There was water filled there. The sheep drank it and one after the other the sheep started falling down and the sheep died in no time. Dead bodies of sheep were lying at various places.
