Hisar: The new year will begin with a cold day in Haryana. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of cold day in 13 districts. These include Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Charkhi-Dadri, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Mewat and Palwal.
On Tuesday, the situation was bad in 4 districts, where the maximum temperature of the day was recorded below 13 degrees. These districts include Rohtak, Karnal, Ambala, and Palwal districts. The Meteorological Department has predicted a cold wave in Haryana till January 3.
Due to this, the minimum temperature may fall by 3 to 5 degrees. 30 trains were affected due to fog in the state. In this, 19 trains were delayed by 30 minutes to 6 hours. 11 trains had to be canceled, due to which the passengers had to face a lot of trouble.
Dr. Chandra Mohan, a meteorologist at Narnaul University, has said that the icy winds blowing from the Himalayas at a speed of 5-10 km per hour have increased the cold in the plains of Haryana. Due to this, due to increased humidity, there is a possibility of a white sheet of fog covering the upper surface of most areas of the state. Due to this, the night temperature is once again falling.
Due to the change in weather in Haryana, the air quality of most districts has improved. On Wednesday morning, the AQI of Charkhi Dadri was 198, Gurugram 138, Faridabad 156, Rohtak 130, Panchkula 117. Weather experts say that in 1-2 days, the weather will remain dry and the pollution graph will increase. Especially the pollution level will increase in the districts of NCR.
