Shimla: Financier Hardeep Singh, a resident of the Kankarkheda police station area of Meerut, has died under suspicious circumstances in Shimla. 42-year-old Hardeep had gone to Shimla with his wife and daughter on New Year. On Tuesday, the family in Meerut got the news of Hardeep Singh’s death. At the same time, Hardeep’s sister Gurvinder has accused her sister-in-law Nisha of murdering her brother.
Hardeep Singh, a resident of Subhashpuri on Sardhana Road, used to work in finance. Hardeep was married to Nisha 12 years ago. Hardeep had gone to Shimla with his wife Nisha and daughter Preet to celebrate New Year. The family reached Shimla on Monday. On Tuesday, wife Nisha called and told this bad news to Hardeep Singh’s sister Gurvinder and family.
Sister Gurvinder could not stop herself after hearing the news of her brother’s sudden death. She is married in Moradabad. She immediately came to Meerut from Moradabad. After coming here, she told the whole matter to the Kankarkheda police station. Also, she accused her sister-in-law Nisha of murdering her brother.
After Gurvinder’s allegations and complaint, Kankarkheda police station has questioned Nisha. Shimla police were also contacted. Police have said that the death was due to a heart attack. Police are also investigating other aspects.
Nisha told the police that they reached Shimla on Monday evening. On Tuesday morning, her husband’s health suddenly deteriorated. They went to a nearby hospital in Shimla. Where after some time the doctors declared Hardeep dead. Police of Shimla’s Baluganj police station has sent the body of the youth for post-mortem.
