Meerut: A tragic and shocking incident has occurred in which a couple and their three daughters were discovered dead in their home in the Lisadi Gate Police Station area. The couple, identified as Moin and his wife Asma, were found on the floor, while their three young daughters—Afsa (8), Aziza (4), and Adiba (1)—were concealed in a bed box, pointing to foul play and an attempt to conceal the crime.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vipin Tada, authorities received a call about a locked house late Thursday night. When police arrived, they learned the home had been locked from the outside. Officers accessed the residence through the roof and found the bodies.
SSP Tada indicated that the way the house was secured suggests the perpetrator may have been acquainted with the family, proposing old enmity as a possible motive for the murders.
In a shocking detail, it was revealed that one victim’s legs were bound with a bedsheet, and the children were found hidden in the bed box. A forensic team is on-site gathering evidence as part of the ongoing investigation.
Local residents expressed their disbelief over the incident, noting that the family had recently moved into the area. Moin worked as a mechanic, and he and Asma had been out of contact with their relatives since Wednesday. Concerns over their wellbeing prompted Moin’s brother, Salim, and his wife to check on them after multiple failed attempts to reach them, ultimately leading to their call for police assistance.
Upon entering the home, authorities discovered Moin and Asma’s bodies on the floor, with the children’s bodies hidden away.
