Chandigarh: The family of SSF employee Harshveer Singh, who lost his life in a road accident two days ago in Bhawanigarh in Sangrur district of Punjab, will be given Rs 1 crore by the government. While Rs 1 crore will be given by HDFC Bank under life insurance. This information has been given by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann by posting on his social media account. He has wished for the speedy recovery of Mandeep Singh, who was injured in the accident.

The CM has written in his post that a very unfortunate incident took place near Bald Kanchian in Bhawanigarh yesterday. The vehicle of SSF employees deployed on duty met with an accident. Employee Harshveer Singh died during treatment and injured employee Mandeep Singh is undergoing treatment. Wish him a speedy recovery.

The government will give Rs 1 crore to the family as financial assistance and HDFC Bank will also give Rs 1 crore separately under life insurance.
