Shimla: Weather will change in Himachal Pradesh from today. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the state for the next 5 days. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and snowfall may occur in some areas of Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti, Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts even today.
On the other hand, there is a forecast of rain and snowfall in the entire state on January 16. Western Disturbance (WD) will weaken a bit on January 17 and 18. But WD will be strong again on January 19. On this day also, clouds will rain in most areas.
On January 20 also, the weather will remain bad in high altitude and medium altitude areas. Obviously, after rain and snowfall, the temperature will drop. Especially the cold will increase in high altitude areas.
Fog alert in 4 districts
On the other hand, dense fog alert has been given in the plain districts Una, Hamirpur, Mandi and Bilaspur today. Fog will trouble people in some areas of these four districts till afternoon. However, there is a possibility of getting relief from fog for 5 days from tomorrow.

There has been good rain and snowfall in the state in the last 2 weeks of December. But there has been nominal rain in January. Between 1 and 14 January, only 4.8 mm of rain and snowfall occurred in the state. Whereas on an average 25.5 mm of clouds rain during this period. That is, this time in January so far, there has been 81 percent less rain and snowfall than normal.
