Bilaspur : A tragic accident occurred in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh on Thursday afternoon. In this, a youth from Haryana died, while six other friends were injured. One youth’s arm had to be amputated during surgery. The police have registered a case and started further action.
According to the information, 7 friends from Kaithal, Haryana were going to Manali for a trip in a Bolero car number HR-05-AQ-1551 on the Kiratpur-Manali four lane. In Bilaspur, their car went out of control and collided with the iron angle of the under-construction footbridge. Due to this, the car was blown to pieces.
After this, the people present on the spot informed the police and took the injured to the hospital by car.
In this accident, Manish Kumar, son of Balwan Singh, a resident of Pabnawa, Kaithal, died on the spot.
The injured include Nishant (23), Vijay Kumar (30), Narendra Kumar (27), Saurabh Kumar (18), Abhinav (17) and Ravi Kumar, residents of Abli village in Karnal.

All the injured are being treated at AIIMS, Bilaspur. Vijay Kumar had to undergo surgery after the accident. Considering his critical condition, his arm had to be amputated during the surgery.
The post-mortem of the deceased’s body will be done today
The post-mortem of the deceased youth’s body will be done today. After this the body will be handed over to the family. Police is investigating the matter.
