Shimla: After rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, the temperature of 10 cities has gone into minus. The minimum temperature of Tabo has fallen to -13.5 degrees. A huge drop has also been recorded in the maximum temperature. In the last 24 hours, the mercury of Seobagh has dropped by 11 degrees to 5.8 degrees. The average maximum temperature of the state has dropped by 7.7 degrees from normal during 24 hours.
The maximum temperature of Una has also dropped to 13.6 degrees Celsius after falling by 10.6 degrees in 24 hours. The temperature of Reckong Peon has dropped to 2.2 degrees after a drop of 10.4 degrees, the temperature of Bharmour has dropped to 1.7 degrees Celsius after a drop of -10.7 degrees. Similarly, the temperature of other cities has also decreased.
On the other hand, after rain and snowfall in the higher regions, the Western Disturbance (WD) has weakened today. Due to this, the weather remained clear in most parts of the state till noon today. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), light rain and snowfall is forecast only in high altitude areas today.
According to IMD, light rain and snowfall may occur in high and medium altitude areas from 18 to 20 January. During this time, the weather will remain clear in the lower areas. Western Disturbance will be stronger from 21 to 23 January. Especially on 23 January, an alert of rain and snowfall has been given.
Yellow alert of fog for three days in 5 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of dense fog for the next three days in the plains of the state. This warning has been given to Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Mandi and Kangra districts. Dense fog prevailed in these districts till noon today. Visibility fell to 50 meters in the morning at many places. Due to this, the drivers had to face trouble. However, the fog cleared after 12 noon.
