Shimla: After fresh snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, tourists are again heading towards the mountains. This has brought back the charm to the tourist places. Especially in Manali, a large number of tourists are arriving. Even if there is no snowfall again in the state, tourists will be able to see snow on the mountains of Himachal for two to three weeks.
Snow can be seen in Solang Nala of Manali for the next eight to 10 days. Solang Nala is about 15 km from Manali. Rooms are available in hotels here from Rs 1200 to Rs 4500. Tourists can also enjoy paragliding and snow biking here.
Although there is no snow in Manali. But a winter carnival is being organized here from 20 to 24 January. Due to this, the tourists reaching Manali are going to be entertained for 5 days.
Snow can be seen at these places in Lahaul Spiti
Tourists will be able to see snow in Koksar, North and South Portal of Rohtang Tunnel, Pagal Nala, Jispah and Sissu of Lahaul Spiti for the next 15 days to one month. Especially Rohtang Top will have snow for more than a month.
If there is snowfall again, then snow will remain at these tourist places for the next two months. However, due to heavy snowfall, the movement of tourists to Atal Tunnel Rohtang is currently stopped. If the weather remains clear, vehicles can be allowed to go to Atal Tunnel in the next two-three days.
These tourist places of Lahaul Spiti can also be reached via Kiratpur-Manali four lane. Sufficient number of hotels and homestays are available for staying at these places.
Snow can be seen for a week in Kufri-Narkanda
Talking about Shimla, tourists will be able to see snow in Kufri, Mahasu-Peak and Narkanda for the next one week. Kufri and Mahasu Peak are about 15-16 km from Shimla and Narkanda is about 65 km from Doon. There are a large number of homestays and hotels for tourists to stay at these places. After seeing snow at these places during the day, tourists can easily return to Shimla in the evening.
