Tandi: The benefit of the special relief package of the Himachal Pradesh government will also be given to the families affected by the fire incident in Tandi village of Banjar subdivision of Kullu district on 1 January 2025. This benefit will be available under the special relief package issued to provide relief and rehabilitation to the people affected by monsoon 2023. The government has issued a notification in this regard. Under this, relief of Rs 7 lakh will be given on the report of the Patwari for completely damaged kutcha and pucca houses.
An amount of Rs 1 lakh will be given for a partially damaged house and Rs 50,000 for a cowshed. Apart from this, financial assistance of Rs 5,000 per month will be provided to the families affected by the fire incident to take private accommodation on rent till 30 June 2025.
The release of funds for a completely damaged house will be controlled by this department as per the details given in the standard operating procedure of the special relief package issued on 18 October 2023.
Let us tell you, on 13th January, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu met the victims of the fire incident in Tandi village. He took stock of the damage caused in the entire village. The Chief Minister assured all the families affected by the fire of all possible help from the government.
