Hisar: In Haryana’s Hisar, a person posted as PSO in Haryana Police shot his son and daughter-in-law. The son was shot in the chest and the daughter-in-law in the back. Both have been admitted to a private hospital in critical condition. The incident took place at 1 pm on Sunday in Beed Babran village.
According to police sources, son Kanwalpreet (26) and his wife Gurpreet Kaur (24) had stopped their father Kashmir Singh from drinking alcohol. In anger, Kashmir Singh fired at his son and daughter-in-law. Kashmir Singh fled after the incident.
Former Sarpanch said – first the husband, then the wife was shot
Former Sarpanch of Beed Babran village, Ladi Singh said that Kashmir Singh is retired from the Army. Now he is posted as PSO in Hisar City Police Station. The firing was done from a licensed 32 bore gun. When the gun fell down, the bullet passed through Kashmir Singh’s son’s chest and hit the back of his wife Gurpreet Kaur who was standing behind.
Kanwalpreet is the only son, married 3 years ago
The family members informed the villagers about the incident. After which Gurpreet and Kanwalpreet were brought to Sapra Hospital soaked in blood. Kanwarpreet’s condition is critical. Kanwaljeet is the only son. He is a farmer. He got married to Gurpreet Kaur of Sardulgarh, Punjab 3 years ago. After marriage, both have a 2-year-old daughter.
