Shimla: Western Disturbance (WD) will be active again in Himachal Pradesh from tomorrow night. Due to this, there is a forecast of good rain and snowfall on 22 and 23 January. An alert has been issued regarding snowfall especially for 23 January. The weather will be clear from 24 January.
On the other hand, the weather will be clear in most parts of the state today and tomorrow. There will be light rain and snowfall only in some areas of Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti districts. Sunshine is forecast at other places.
It is a matter of relief that the people of the state will get relief from fog for the next four days. Dense fog has been troubling people in the plains for the last two weeks. But there will be no fog for the next four days.
Plains have become colder than Shimla
Due to fog, the plains have become colder than Shimla. The minimum temperature of Shimla is 2.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature of Sundarnagar is 1.7 degrees, Una is 1.4 degrees, Palampur is 1 degree and Hamirpur has dropped to 2 degrees, while two days ago there has been fresh snowfall on Shimla and the surrounding high peaks.
According to the Meteorological Department, the cold has increased in the plains due to fog.
