90 kg poppy husk seized in Hisar, woman including 2 arrested

The Narcotics Control Bureau has had a big success in the Hisar district of Haryana. During an encounter with drug smugglers near Dhandur bypass, the police recovered 90 kg of poppy husk. The police have arrested two people including a woman, while the main accused fled from the spot.

According to the information, Hisar and Bhiwani units of Haryana Narcotics Control Bureau had received information that Sahdev, a resident of Asrav village, was bringing poppy husk from Rajasthan with his wife and another companion. On this information, the police blocked the road near Dhandur village. When the police tried to stop the suspicious vehicle, the driver turned the vehicle backwards.

During this, the accused hit the private vehicle of the police. However, the police took immediate action and arrested the woman and another accused in the vehicle. The main accused Sahdev managed to escape from the spot. The police team is investigating the matter thoroughly and the search for the absconding accused is on.
