Nangal: Six people were seriously injured in a horrific road accident on the Nangal-Chandigarh main road, out of which a woman died on the spot, while the remaining five seriously injured were taken to the Nangal Civil Hospital with the help of police and ambulance, where they were given first aid, but an 18-year-old youth who was seriously injured died on reaching the hospital. The rest, who were also seriously injured, have been referred to Chandigarh after being given first aid.
A bus and a car collided head-on on the Nangal-Chandigarh main road near the village of Brahmpur adjacent to Nangal. A total of six people in the car suffered serious injuries in this road accident.
The Road Safety Force (SSF) team and the Nangal Police team that reached the scene of the incident took the injured to the Nangal Civil Hospital, out of which one woman died on the spot and an 18-year-old youth died on going to the hospital.
The remaining four persons have been referred to Chandigarh after being given first aid by the Civil Hospital in Nangal. Let us tell you that the AN Holidays private bus which was going from Maklodganj in Himachal to Delhi Airport and the car which was going from Delhi to Himachal, although all the passengers in the bus are said to be fine, while a total of six passengers in the Attica car have been seriously injured.
The reasons for the accident could not be ascertained, but looking at the bus and the car, it seems that this accident occurred due to high speed and overtaking. All the passengers in the bus were put in another bus and sent towards Delhi.
