The deceased has been identified as Mohinder Singh son Harpreet Singh (40), resident of Kala Bakra, Bhogpur. Immediately after the incident, all the passengers were sent to Jalandhar by boarding another bus from the spot. No passenger has been injured in the incident.

Whose body has been taken into custody and sent to Civil Hospital Jalandhar for postmortem. The accused bus driver fled from the spot.
