Dallewal’s strike enters 59th day: Special room with all facilities under construction

Till the room is built, he will be kept in a trolley equipped with state-of-the-art facilities near the front.

The hunger strike of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal at Khanauri border of Punjab has entered its 59th day today (Thursday). Now his condition is improving as glucose had been administered to him. Now a special room is being prepared for him at the front. In the room, he will be given medical services even in emergency times.

Till the room is built, he will be kept in a trolley equipped with state-of-the-art facilities near the front. A team of doctors from Rajindra Hospital has also been deployed there in shifts, which is monitoring his condition.

Apart from this, preparations for the tractor march to be taken out on January 26 are also going on in full swing in all the states including Punjab. The farmers clearly say that their struggle will continue till their demands are met.

The room which is being prepared in Khanauri is made of glass. It will be completely soundproof. Sunlight will be able to enter it easily. Also, there will be a bathroom and other facilities near that room. There will also be a facility to heat water.

However, before this, Dallewal was taken down from the trolley on a stretcher at 2 pm on Wednesday. During this, he first bowed his head in front of Guru Granth Sahib. After that, in the presence of farmer leaders, senior doctors, and administrative officials, Jagjit Singh Dallewal reached his new trolley. Where he stayed for three hours.

A tractor march will be taken out by the farmers on January 26 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. This will be for 13 demands including MSP. This march will be taken out in front of shopping malls, silos, toll plazas, BJP offices, leaders and houses across the country.
