The villagers and the fire department informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot and took the body into custody and started investigating the matter. However, the reason for the fire in the house is not yet known.
According to the information received, this morning a fire suddenly broke out in a house in village Mandi in which all the belongings of the house were burnt to ashes. The 55-year-old owner of the house, Gurdawar Chand, also died in this fire. The villagers and fire brigade personnel broke the roof of the house to douse the fire and took out the body.
