Day 61 of Jagjit Dallewal’s Fast: Health improving gradually, Tractor march tomorrow

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal’s fast has entered its 61st day today. This historic satyagraha at Khanauri Kisan Morcha has completed two months. The farmer leaders said that this morcha is completely focused on the demands of the farmers and has no connection with any other issue. They have appealed to the public and the administration not to make any attempt to desecrate this sacred morcha.

Dallewal’s health improving

Dallewal’s health is now improving continuously. Dallewal has refused to accept the Supreme Court’s suggestion to get treatment at PGI. Whereas, yesterday Dallewal came out in the sun after a long time. The team of doctors is trying to make Dallewal healthy by February 14, so that he can discuss at the table in the meeting.

The farmer leaders clarified that the aim of this Kisan Morcha, which has been going on since February 13, is only to convey their voice to the government regarding the demands of the farmers. He said that this movement is completely peaceful and sacred.

The farmer leaders appealed to all the farmers and people associated with the movement to maintain the dignity of this movement and not let it derail or be polluted in any way. They said that this movement is a fight for the rights of farmers and it will not be affected by any external force.

Preparations for the program on January 26: The farmer leaders said that on January 26 from 12 noon to 1:30 pm, farmers’ tractors will be on the roads across the country and a tractor march will be taken out. Preparations for the tractor march are also underway in other states on a large scale.
