Punjab: Around two people are said to be injured in Ludhiana on Ferozpur Road after an over speeding Jetta car hits I20 before hitting three other cars parked outside Grandwalk mall on Wednesday late evening.
According to the police, the Jetta car first hit the I20 car on the main Ferozepur Road and then jumped over the divider and hit a Thar car and then a Fortuner and then another Thar.
In the incident, two persons have suffered injuries.
Police officials said that the driver fled from the spot soon after the incident.
He also said that the injured persons are taken to the nearby hospital for immediate treatment.
The I20 vehicle spotted in the incident is having registration PB10GC-4004 has received damage on its back side. Meanwhile, the over-speeding Jetta car has registration number — PB 10 FB 0270.
The police have initiated investigation into the matter.
