The AETO arrested in Kaithal for taking a bribe of Rs 1.40 lakh will be presented in court today. The remand of the accused will be taken to reach other accused involved in the case and for recovery.
The ACB team has also registered a case against the accused in this matter. It is also alleged that the said AETO used to collect huge amounts from people by promising to give money to higher officials.
It is worth noting that a person named Richpal had complained to the ACB in this regard that he was the guarantor of Dharampal & Company, which takes liquor contracts. His six kanal 11 marla land was to be attached. In place of that, AETO Dinesh is demanding money.
The AETO is a resident of Pangal in Hisar and is posted in Kaithal. He had taken Rs 60 thousand earlier as well. He was now demanding 1 lakh 40 thousand. The team arrested the accused while taking money.
Kaithal ACB Inspector Mohinder Singh said that the accused will be presented in the court today. Remand will be obtained from there. The amount taken by the accused will be recovered during interrogation. If more accused come forward in the case, action will be taken against them too.
