After receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot and started investigation.

Vikas, who lives in Dabua Colony, said that his uncle, the landlord Devki Nandan, tenant Radha and their son Sagar Goyal were trapped in the smoke due to the fire. Devki Nandan and Radha came out immediately, but Sagar Goyal kept sleeping in the room. Due to the smoke, it took about 45 minutes to take him out.

He said that the fire was so fierce that the walls of the house developed cracks and almost all the household items were burnt to ashes. The two gas cylinders kept in the house did not catch fire, otherwise the accident could have been even more terrible.

As soon as the incident was reported, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot. Nearby houses were also evacuated for safety. All three injured were immediately taken to a private hospital, where Sagar Goyal has been admitted considering his critical condition.

Additional in-charge sub-inspector Atar Singh of Dabua police station said that after getting information about the fire, he reached the spot with his team. Fire brigade vehicles were called after giving information. After this, the fire could be controlled. In this accident, Sagar Goyal has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. Devki Nandan and Radha have been sent home after giving first aid.
