Rohtak: In Haryana’s Rohtak district, a speeding car hit a bike from behind. The bike rider died on the spot in the accident. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and started investigation.
The deceased was identified as Raman resident of Sanjay Nagar. The deceased was going to Ambala for some work and met with an accident after crossing Makdauli toll. On the complaint of the deceased’s cousin Ashish Aneja, the police have registered a case against the car driver.
The car was moving at a high speed
The deceased’s brother Ashish said that Raman was going to Ambala on a bike late at night and he had gone with him on a scooter to Gohana for some work. At night, a speeding Brezza car hit the bike from behind and fled from the spot. He noted down the number of the car and gave it to the police.
The postmortem of the dead body will be done today
Investigating officer of Sadar police station ASI Kuldeep said that information about the road accident was received. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and kept it in the mortuary. The postmortem of the body will be done today. The brother of the deceased has given the car number. The police is searching for the accused.
