New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to address several significant public gatherings in Delhi on Monday as part of the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections.
The events will occur in key constituencies to enhance the party’s visibility and engage with voters ahead of the February 5 elections.
The first gathering will take place at the Jangpura Assembly constituency at 11:30 AM, located at Bhagwan Nagar Market. Following that, Shah will head to the Bijwasan Assembly constituency at 2:30 PM for a rally at Dada Dev Ground in Raj Nagar, Mehrauli.
The day’s final rally is scheduled for 3:30 PM in the Dwarka Assembly constituency, taking place at Ram Leela Ground, Durga Park, Najafgarh.
These events are part of a series of significant roadshows organized by the Delhi BJP to connect with voters and promote the party’s message throughout the national capital.
Earlier, during a rally in Rohini, Shah criticized the AAP, labeling it as a party of “lies, deceit, and fraud” for failing to fulfill promises, such as closing liquor shops in residential areas, cleaning the Yamuna River, and increasing hospital beds.
He questioned the credibility of AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, who accused the BJP of contaminating Yamuna water, asking if any Delhi resident believes him.
Shah asserted that the AAP is known for breaking promises, while he emphasized that every commitment made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reliable.
With the February 5 elections approaching, the competition in Delhi is heating up, as the ruling AAP, BJP, and Congress are all striving to win voter support.
All three parties have released their manifestos, outlining their promises in hopes of gaining control of the national capital. The results of this crucial contest will be revealed on February 8.
