Jalandhar: A massive fire broke out in the office of IBM Tour and Travel near Commissionerate Police Station Rama Mandi in Surya Enclave, Jalandhar. Due to which all the goods lying in the office were burnt to ashes.
The fire brigade team controlled the fire after a lot of hard work. There was no loss of life in the incident. At present, the cause of the fire seems to be a short circuit. Still, the fire brigade teams are investigating the matter. Further action will be taken in the matter after investigation.
Fire broke out on the first floor of the building
According to the information received, a fire broke out on the first floor of a building located a few meters away from the police station. The building in which the fire broke out had office paperwork material stored in it. Local people have informed the fire brigade about the incident.
Due to the intensity of the fire, 2 fire engines reached the spot to control the fire. Fortunately, in this incident, passport and other important documents were saved from being engulfed in fire.
The owner said – the wires were hanging, there is a possibility of a short circuit
Building owner Harvinder Singh said- At present, the cause of the fire is not clear. The people living nearby were the first to know about the fire incident. They informed him first and immediately the fire brigade team was called to the spot.
Along with the fire brigade team, the people around also helped a lot and after about one and a half hours the fire was brought under control. The important documents that they had were not damaged in the incident.
