Delhi: Renowned actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut is set to fulfil a long-cherished childhood dream with the launch of her own café in the Himalayas. The actress recently shared a video on social media, offering a glimpse into her new venture, which will officially open on Valentine’s Day.
Kangana Ranaut Introduces ‘The Mountain Story’
The video features Kangana deeply immersed in her pahadi cultural heritage, highlighted through traditional attire, local people, and the scenic mountain setting. Blending tradition with modernity, the café, named The Mountain Story, reflects the warmth of the locals against the cool and serene backdrop of the Himalayas.
Expressing her excitement, Kangana stated, “This is undoubtedly one of the most special projects of my life. It is an extension of myself—something close to both my heart and my roots. I am extremely proud to offer an experience that reflects my heritage through The Mountain Story.”
While details about the café remain undisclosed, Kangana’s announcement has already generated significant anticipation among her fans.

Kangana started the year with the release of her much-discussed film Emergency, in which she portrayed former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She also directed the political drama, which depicted India’s Emergency period. Despite facing numerous controversies, the film, released last month, received a lukewarm response at the box office.
Currently, the actress is filming an upcoming project alongside R Madhavan. The duo previously collaborated in the popular films Tanu Weds Manu and its sequel Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Fans are eager to see them reunite on screen once again.
