Shimla: After snowfall in the higher regions of Himachal, the weather has become clear today. Most parts of the state including Shimla are sunny since morning.
Meanwhile, the weather department has issued a yellow alert for dense fog in three districts Una, Hamirpur and Mandi today and tomorrow. In some areas of these districts, the visibility will be less than 50 meters from morning to afternoon.
Due to this, drivers have been advised to be cautious. A cold wave alert has also been issued in Hamirpur district.
Snowfall again in higher regions on 8-11 February
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will again turn bad in the higher regions of Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti on February 8 and light snowfall may occur for the next 96 hours i.e. till February 11.
Dalhousie’s temperature dropped by 11.6 degrees in 24 hours
There has been a huge drop in temperature after rain and snowfall in the last 48 hours. The maximum drop in temperature in Dalhousie was 11.6 degrees in the last 24 hours and the maximum temperature here remained at 4 degrees Celsius. Which is 7.2 degrees less than normal.
Manali’s temperature dropped to 10 degrees
The temperature in Manali dropped by -10.0 degrees in 24 hours and the maximum temperature of Manali remained at 4.7 degrees, which is -6.3 degrees below normal. The maximum temperature of Shimla also dropped by 7.6 degrees to 10.0 degrees Celsius during 24 hours.
The average maximum temperature of the state has fallen by 4.4 degrees in 24 hours and has slipped 1.7 degrees below normal.
