The temperature in Punjab is likely to remain the same as yesterday on Friday. There will not be much change in temperature. According to the Meteorological Center, the average maximum temperature in the state has increased by 0.2 degree Celsius on Thursday as compared to Wednesday. However, it is close to normal levels in the state. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 22.8 degrees Celsius in Ludhiana. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Fazilka was 4.7 degrees.
No alert has been issued anywhere in Punjab till next week. A new western disturbance is becoming active in Punjab from tomorrow, February 8. But its effect will not be seen in Punjab. Its effect will be limited to the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and there are chances of rain and weather change.
Due to this western disturbance, light clouds may remain in Punjab. Due to this there will not be much change in the weather department in the coming two days, but after that the temperature of Punjab will increase by 3 degrees within a week.
