Shimla: A car fell into a ditch in Chaupal of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh on Friday evening. Two people died in this accident. Police has taken the bodies of both of them in its custody and started further action.
According to the police, this accident happened near Chambi on Chaupal-Jheena road. Both the persons were travelling in an Alto car number HP08A-4595. The car lost control near Chambi and fell into a deep ditch. Two people from the same village died in this accident.
The deceased have been identified as Ramkrishna Sharma son of Kewal Ram and Surjit Singh Kalsaik son of Chasa Ram. Both were residents of Chiuna village of Chaupal. Ramkrishna Sharma used to run a grocery shop in Chambi.
According to the information, the accident happened when both were going from Chambi to Chiuna. Both died on the spot. At present, the real cause of the road accident is not known. Local people heard the sound of the vehicle falling and informed the police about the incident. After some time, the police reached the spot and by 9 pm both the bodies were brought from the ditch to the road.
