Two robbers surrounded a young man returning from work to his room under Cheema Chowk bridge in Ludhiana, Punjab. The miscreants attacked him with a sharp weapon. Robbers hit the head of the young man and made him fall on the ground. The miscreants snatched his mobile and purse and fled away from spot
The victim, 26-year-old Shahwaz, a resident of Janakpuri Street No. 7, said that he was going home on a bicycle after leaving work at night. After attack, his colleagues took him to the hospital in a Bloody condition.
As per victim, Two motorcycle riders attacked him with a sharp weapon under Cheema Chowk bridge and snatched his mobile and purse. The victim’s colleague was coming from behind. when they saw him in a bloody state they immediately picked him up and took him to a private doctor in Janakpuri. The doctor, seeing his condition, asked to take him to the Civil Hospital where he got about 8 stitches.
The victim works as a tailor in hosiery. He is originally from Ruhiya village in Kishanganj district of Bihar.
