Punjab Weather Update: Sky to persist clear for next 5 days, Temp exceeds 25 degrees in 8 districts

The effect of cold has started reducing in Punjab-Chandigarh, and the temperature has started increasing. In 24 hours, the temperature of the state has increased by 0.5 degrees. At the same time, it is 3.4 degrees more than the normal temperature. The highest temperature in the state has been recorded in Abohar at 30 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of fog or rain till February 16. However, Western Disturbance is located over North Pakistan. Due to its effect, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of a decrease of up to 2 degrees in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the coming two days.

Temperature of 8 districts crosses 25 degrees

The maximum temperature in Punjab and Chandigarh has started increasing continuously since the last few days. The temperature of 8 districts of the state has crossed 25 degrees. These districts include Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Mohali, Pathankot, Ludhiana, Patiala, Fazilka, Fatehgarh Sahib and Ropar. At the same time, an increase of 0.4 degrees has been recorded in the temperature of Chandigarh. This temperature has now reached 26.9 degrees.

According to the experts of the Meteorological Department, there are chances of cloud cover in Chandigarh and some areas of Punjab from February 13. However, there is no possibility of rain. This situation is being created due to the effect of Western Disturbance. Apart from this, this time the cold is expected to reduce 10 to 12 days earlier.

Apart from this, the wind pattern system is becoming such that it is not supporting the intensity of Western Disturbance. Along with this, the humidity is also decreasing. At the same time, this change in the weather is also being seen due to less snowfall on the mountains.
