The row began when podcast Ranver Allahbadia made a controversial joke on ‘parental sex’ that went viral on Samay Raina’s “India’s Got Latent”. In the viral video, the influencer was seen asking a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever.” This remark was seen as vulgar and offensive.
