Hisar: Different colors of weather are seen in Haryana in February. Sometimes the heat increases and sometimes the temperature drops. Similarly, fluctuations are also seen in the night temperature. On Wednesday, the temperature crossed 28 degrees in 7 districts of Haryana. Later the mercury dropped to 4 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature was recorded between 24 to 25 degrees in Ambala, Narnaul, Gurugram, Kurukshetra, Rohtak and Sonipat. Whereas the temperature in Karnal, Panipat and Jind was between 23 to 24 degrees. Apart from this, the temperature in the rest of the state remained between or around 25 to 26 degrees.
Talking about Wednesday, the temperature in Yamunanagar, Rohtak, Faridabad, Palwal, Mahendragarh, Narnaul and Gurugram had crossed 28 degrees. Now the western disturbance is likely to become active from tomorrow, in such a situation, the day temperature may fall due to cloud cover. At the same time, there will be a rise in the night temperature.
Western disturbance will become active from tomorrow: Khichad
Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, says that the weather in Haryana is likely to remain generally dry till February 15. During this time, due to the partial effect of western disturbance, there will be intermittent change in winds from February 14 to February 16, due to which most of the areas of the state will remain partially cloudy at times.
He said that due to the partial effect of western disturbance on February 16, there may be sporadic drizzle at some places in the south-western regions. Due to this, there is a possibility of a slight drop in the day temperature.
