Fortis Healthcare Limited (FHL) has announced the acquisition of Shrimann Superspeciality Hospital in the city. The agreement for the deal was officially signed today.
Acquiring the 228-bed hospital, Fortis Healthcare is looking forward to strengthen its network in Punjab. Here in the state, Fortis currently operates two hospitals in Ludhiana and one each in Amritsar and Mohali.
This acquisition is expected to enhance Fortis Healthcare’s medical services and provide advanced healthcare facilities to patients.
The acquisition will be carried out through Fortis’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Fortis Hospitals Limited (FHTL), and will be subject to shareholder approval.
The transaction is expected to be completed by on or before March 31, 2025.
It is an all-cash deal through a slump sale.
