Mumbai: Action star Vidyut Jammwal has shared his views on the controversy surrounding Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia, which erupted after the duo made insensitive remarks on the streaming show “India’s Got Latent.”

In a recent Instagram video, Vidyut referenced the phrase “vinaash kal vipreet buddhi,” suggesting their comments were foolish. However, he later reflected on the backlash Ranveer has received, noting that many people wish to see his career end and are mocking him for his mistake.

Vidyut stated, “One mistake can make a person regret for the rest of his life,” acknowledging the criticism but also highlighting the importance of forgiveness. Drawing on Patanjali’s teachings, he emphasized the need for compassion, kindness, and the ability to forgive, asking his followers if they share this perspective. “Should we forgive him or not? We have the ability to forgive even the worst of people,” he urged.

In his post’s caption, he elaborated on the Patanjali yoga sutra discussing compassion, happiness, and the importance of maintaining a clean mind through friendship and practice, using Ranveer Allahbadia as a case study.

He concluded by encouraging his followers to reflect on their mindset, stating, “When will we train our mind?” and signed off with his signature hashtag #ITrainLikeVidyutJammwal.
