what was the matter
Arvind Kejriwal had said that the water flowing to Delhi through the Yamuna river is poisonous in connection with the Delhi elections. Due to which Ashish Kaushik, Executive Engineer of Rai Water Services Division of Sonipat, on behalf of the State Disaster Management Authority, had filed a case in the Sonipat court.
In his complaint, he had said that on January 28, a crowd of people from the nearby villages near the Yamuna river had gathered in the irrigation department office and started questioning the irrigation department about this and said that why did the Haryana government put poison in the Yamuna river. This will cause the death of animals and people.
When people were asked the reason for this, they showed a video clip going viral on social media in which Arvind Kejriwal was giving a statement that the Haryana government has mixed poison in the water of Yamuna river.
It was also said by the locals who are seen saying in the video that due to the alert given by the Delhi Water Board officials, the presence of poison in the water was detected and due to which the lives of many residents of Delhi were saved.
After that it is also told that later the people were pacified and they were assured that there is nothing like what has been claimed in the viral video. There is no poison of any kind in the water and this statement of Arvind Kejriwal is absolutely wrong. After that the crowd calmed down and people went back. Due to this a petition was filed against Arvind Kejriwal.
