Dumka: A young man was found hanging from a tree near Jaruadih village in Dumka district, Jharkhand, raising concerns of foul play. The deceased, identified as Aryan, lived just 200 meters from where his body was discovered.
Family members reported that Aryan left home on Tuesday evening and did not return. After searching for him throughout the night, they found his body hanging from a tree the following morning and alerted the police.
His family believes Aryan was murdered, alleging that someone killed him and staged the hanging to make it look like a suicide. They are working with police to investigate any potential enemies he may have had, and Aryan’s call records are under review.
Dumka Sadar SDPO Vijay Kumar, who is leading the investigation, stated it is too soon to make any conclusions and emphasized that all possibilities are being explored. A police team, along with a dog squad, has been deployed to assist in the investigation.
This incident follows a recent similar case in Dumka, where another individual was found hanging, also prompting suspicions of murder from the victim’s family. In light of these two cases, local residents are urging for a thorough investigation to reveal the truth behind these suspicious hangings, with police assuring that all angles are being considered.
