Fatal bike collission in Kurukshetra: 1 died; another injured

Kurukshetra: Two bikes collided head-on in Shahabad, Kurukshetra. The son of a former sarpanch died in the accident, while the other bike rider was badly injured. The accident happened around 10 pm. Just 2 minutes before the accident, the young man had talked to his sister on the phone. The young man was returning home.

Just 2 minutes before the accident, the young man had talked to his sister on the phone. The young man was returning home on his bike after duty.

According to the information, Pradeep Kumar alias Neetu, son of former Sarpanch Rajkumar of Mohanpur village of Shahabad, used to work in Ambala. At around 10 pm, Neetu was returning home on his bike after duty.

As soon as Neetu reached near Madanpur village, his bike collided with a bike coming from the front. As soon as the collision took place, both of them fell on the road along with the bike and got badly injured.

The other youth could not be identified

After the accident, people from the area reached the spot and took both of them to CHC Shahabad through ambulance. Here the doctors examined Neetu and declared him dead, while the other youth was referred after first aid. However, the other youth could not be identified.

2 minutes before the accident, Neetu had a phone conversation with her sister. A few days ago, Neetu’s sister had come to stay at her maternal home. When Neetu did not return home till 10 pm, her sister called her. In the conversation, Neetu had said that she would return home in 10 minutes, but before that, the family got the news of her accident.

Police is investigating

On receiving the information about the incident, the police reached the hospital and took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. The police is investigating the matter. On the other hand, Neetu’s death caused mourning in the entire village. When his mother, sister and relatives reached the hospital to see Neetu, they started crying bitterly after seeing their son’s dead body.
