New Delhi: In a significant announcement ahead of International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed a new initiative aimed at empowering women across India. During the 119th episode of Mann Ki Baat, he stated that on March 8, he would temporarily transfer his social media accounts, including X and Instagram, to a select group of inspiring women. These women, who have excelled in various fields, will use the platforms to share their achievements and experiences with the nation.

“This Women’s Day, I am launching an initiative dedicated to celebrating women’s strength. I will hand over my social media accounts for one day to a few remarkable women who have made significant contributions in different areas. They will share their stories and insights with the country,” PM Modi explained. He emphasized that while the platforms belong to him, the focus will be on the women’s narratives.

The Prime Minister encouraged women to participate in this initiative through the NAMO App, inviting them to share their messages globally. “If you wish to seize this opportunity, join the special forum on the NAMO App and share your message with the world through my X and Instagram accounts. Let’s honor and celebrate the incredible power of women this Women’s Day,” he said.

Additionally, PM Modi highlighted India’s advancements in Artificial Intelligence, mentioning his recent participation in an AI conference in Paris, where India received global recognition for its progress in this field. He shared the story of a government school teacher in Telangana, Thodasam Kailash Ji, who is using AI to preserve tribal languages by composing songs in Kolami and other languages, which have gained popularity on social media. “Our youth are leading a technological revolution in areas like space and AI, showcasing India’s capability to embrace and utilize new technologies,” he concluded.
