There will not be much change in the temperature of Punjab today. But, it is expected to increase by 2 to 4 degrees in the coming days. This change will be seen in both minimum and maximum temperatures. In the last 24 hours, the average maximum temperature in Punjab has increased by 1.5 degrees Celsius. However, it remains 2.1 degrees Celsius above normal in the state. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius in Bathinda.
According to the Meteorological Center, the sky is going to be clear in Punjab today. No alert of any kind has been issued. Due to which the sun will shine and the temperature will increase. But one cyclonic circulation is active in Iran, the second in Pakistan and the third circulation in West Bengal. Due to which a new western disturbance is becoming active from tomorrow i.e. Tuesday.
After which, apart from the hilly areas, changes will also be seen in the weather of Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana.
According to the Meteorological Center, a new western disturbance is becoming active from February 25. After which changes will be seen in the neighboring states. According to the information released by the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir from 25 to 28 February, Himachal Pradesh from 26 to 28 February and Uttarakhand from 27-28 February.
The effect of this western disturbance will be seen in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh on 26-27 February. There is a possibility of rain in both the states and the Union Territory on both these days. For which a yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Center.
