In an interview with ANI, Deputy CM Maurya expressed, “The grand and historic Maha Kumbh 2025 is concluding on Mahashivratri. The sacred bathing continues as more devotees arrive.” He extended a warm welcome to all attendees, inviting everyone to partake in this spiritual gathering while acknowledging that some may have encountered challenges due to the large crowds, for which he offered his sincere apologies.

Maurya added, “If your journey has been successful, cherish the ‘dip of faith’ that has brought you here. As you immerse yourself in the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, may this faith accompany you home.”

In related news, Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal, Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, arrived at Trichy International Airport after attending the Kumbh Mela. Speaking to reporters, he expressed delight at the massive turnout, highlighting the significance of the Kumbh Mela for Hindus. “It’s wonderful to see participation from across the country. I’ve heard that over 52 crore people have taken the holy dip so far, and UP CM has made excellent arrangements,” he noted.
