FIR against 24 travel agents in Punjab, 7 arrested

Chandigarh: After the youth was deported by the US, the Punjab government has taken action and has registered 24 cases against travel agents so far. He said – At present our teams are still arresting and investigating the accused. Soon there will be more arrests in the case.

Punjab Cabinet’s NRI minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal while talking to Ajnala media in Amritsar said- So far 1274 travel agents’ offices have been inspected. 1123 licenses have also been checked. Suspects were also investigated and records of some were also confiscated.

Minister Dhaliwal made allegations against Union Minister Khattar

Punjab NRI Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal strongly condemned the statement issued by Union Cabinet Minister Manohar Lal Khattar regarding the Indians expelled from America. Minister Dhaliwal said- Aam Aadmi Party government will embrace the youth expelled from America.

He also said that a letter has been written to the Ministry of External Affairs seeking information on how many Indians are living in Panama after being expelled from America and how many of them are Punjabis. He said that every kind of help will be provided to Punjabis living in Panama.
