Mumbai: Actress Kiara Advani, who recently shared her pregnancy news, was spotted in public for the first time since the announcement.
She was photographed at the Filmalaya Studios in Andheri, Mumbai, where she posed for the paparazzi in front of her vanity van. Kiara donned a complete white summer outfit, fitting for the sweltering temperatures of 35°C as the city transitions into a hot season following a brief period of cooler weather.
On Friday, Kiara and her husband Sidharth Malhotra revealed that they are expecting their first child. They shared a heartfelt post on Instagram featuring an image of hands holding a pair of white knitted baby booties adorned with delicate ribbon bows, symbolizing their excitement as soon-to-be parents.
Their industry friends quickly took to social media to congratulate them. Sharvari expressed her excitement with a “Congratulations,” while Ishaan Khatter sent well wishes, saying, “Congratulations guys! And bless up, lil one! Safe journey.” Huma Qureshi and Neha Dhupia also congratulated the couple, with Neha calling it the “best news ever.”
Rhea Kapoor, sister of actress Sonam Kapoor, also shared her congratulations. Kiara and Sidharth initially met on the sets of their film ‘Shershaah,’ where their romance blossomed in 2020, although they had remained tight-lipped about dating rumors at the time.
The couple married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, in 2023. ‘Shershaah,’ which is a biographical war film based on the heroic life of Kargil War martyr Captain Vikram Batra, featured Sidharth in dual roles as Vikram Batra and his twin brother Vishal, while Kiara portrayed his girlfriend, Dimple Cheema. Sidharth’s upcoming project is ‘Param Sundari,’ where he stars alongside actress Janhvi Kapoor; the two have recently completed filming in Kerala.
