Amritsar: Repair work will be carried out on the service road of Vallah flyover in Amritsar, Punjab today (Sunday). Bituminous overlay work will be carried out by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) during this period, which will run from 9 am to 4 pm.
Due to this work, traffic will be affected between Verka and Golden Gate on Amritsar bypass. The administration has advised commuters to avoid this route and use alternative routes of the city, so as to avoid unnecessary trouble.

The administration has appealed to the public to follow traffic rules and avoid unnecessary travel, so that there is no traffic jam on the road.
