Punjab: The five member committee of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee on Sunday convened a meeting at the residence of Harjinder Singh Dhami to discuss his potential return to his position as SGPC president.
However, no final decision was reached during the hour-long meeting.
Committee member Baldev Singh Kalyan who was part of the meeting told reporters that the discussions were positive. “The meeting took place in a good atmosphere, and we have urged Dhami Ji to reconsider his position. We hope he will resume his services soon,” Kalyan said.
He further added that Harjinder Singh Dhami has always been dedicated to serving the Panth and that discussions are ongoing. While no official resolution was made, Kalyan suggested that Dhami may still change his decision and return to his responsibilities.
