A student pursuing dual degree in B.Tech from NIT Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh has died under suspicious circumstances. The student was found hanging from a noose in the Himgiri Hostel of NIT at around 8:00 am on Monday. The police have found a suicide note at the spot. In this, no one has been held responsible for the death and he has mentioned being unhappy with life.
Ayansh Sharma, a resident of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, was pursuing a dual degree course from the Department of Electronics and Communication. In the case, the forensic team has collected evidence from the spot and the handwriting of the recovered suicide note is also being investigated.
According to the police, due to initial evidence, the case appears to be a suicide. However, the reasons for death will be clear only after forensic investigation of the suicide note and other evidence and the post-mortem report. It is being said that Ayansh was good in studies and his exam results have also been good so far, so the reason for his suicide has also become a mystery.
He was alone in his room on Sunday night. The police have seized the student’s mobile and laptop. At the same time, the institute has informed the family. The family has left for Hamirpur from Bareilly.
