Charkhi Dadri: Farmers in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri district are angry over the destruction of crops due to the recent hailstorm. The affected farmers gathered at the Hansavas Kalan bus stand in the district on Tuesday and blocked the Hisar-Narnaul road demanding compensation.
During this, the farmers expressed their anger by raising slogans against the government and the administration. The farmers have warned of starting an indefinite dharna if their demands are not met soon. Due to the jam, there was a line of vehicles on the Hisar-Narnaul main road. Due to which the drivers had to face trouble.
There was hailstorm on Friday
Let us tell you that last Friday night, due to hailstorm along with rain in many villages of Charkhi Dadri district, crops were badly damaged. Apart from this, wheat and mustard crops were also scattered on the ground due to storm along with rain. This caused a lot of damage.
The affected farmers and the people of the farmers’ organizations are continuously demanding compensation by getting special Girdawari done to compensate for the loss. Regarding this, the farmers gathered at the village Hansavas Kalan bus stand on Hisar-Narnaul road and protested demanding compensation.

Farmers expressing their anger, former Sarpanch Dinesh, Rajbir Nambardar, Jaisingh, Satyawan said that their crops have been completely destroyed due to hailstorm. The damage report prepared by the department shows less loss. They said that proper compensation should be given to the farmers by getting special Girdawari done soon.
